॥ श्री राम स्तोत्रम‌् ॥

||  ஶ்ரீ ராம ஸ்தோத்ரம் ||

॥ ŚRĪ RĀMA STOTRAM ॥

यदि मेऽनुग्रहो राम तवास्ति मधुसूदन ।
त्वद्भक्तसङ्गस्त्वत्पादे दृढा भक्तिः सदास्तु मे ॥ ४८॥

स्तोत्रमेतत्पठेद्यस्तु भक्तिहीनोऽपि सर्वदा ।
त्वद्भक्तिस्तस्य विज्ञानं भूयादन्ते स्मृतिस्तव ॥ ४९॥

யதி³ மே(அ)நுக்³ரஹோ ராம தவாஸ்தி மது⁴ஸூத³ன |
த்வத்³ப⁴க்தஸங்க³ஸ்த்வத்பாதே³ த்³ருʼடா⁴ ப⁴க்தி​: ஸதா³ஸ்து மே ||  48||

ஸ்தோத்ரமேதத்படே²த்³யஸ்து ப⁴க்திஹீனோ(அ)பி ஸர்வதா³ |
த்வத்³ப⁴க்திஸ்தஸ்ய விஜ்ஞானம்ʼ பூ⁴யாத³ந்தே ஸ்ம்ருʼதிஸ்தவ ||  49||

yadi me'nugraho rāma tavāsti madhusūdana ।
tvadbhaktasaṅgastvatpāde dṛḍhā bhaktiḥ sadāstu me ॥ 48॥

stotrametatpaṭhedyastu bhaktihīno'pi sarvadā ।
tvadbhaktistasya vijñānaṃ bhūyādante smṛtistava ॥ 49॥

பொருள் :

" ஹே மதுஸூதன ! தங்களுக்கு என்னிடம் க்ருபையானது இருக்குமேயானால் தங்கள் சரணங்களிலே திடமான பக்தியும், தங்கள் பக்த ஸங்கமும் எப்பொழுதும் இருக்க வேண்டுமென ப்ரார்த்திக்கின்றேன். மேலும் இன்னொரு வரத்தையும் யாசிக்கின்றேன். பக்தி இல்லாதவர்கள் இந்த ஸ்துதியைப்  படித்தால் அவர்களுக்கு தங்களிடம் திடபக்தியும் ஞானமும் ஏற்பட்டு அந்திமஸமயத்திலே உமது புண்ணியமான நினைவும் ஏற்பட அருள் செய்ய வேண்டும் " எனக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டார். ரகுநாதனும் " அப்படியே ஆகட்டும் " என அனுக்ரஹித்தார்.   48, 49

இத்துடன் ஸ்தோத்ரம் நிறைவு பெறுகிறது.

Meaning :

( Then in a highly elated mood, that scion of Bhrigu’s line said to Sri Rama: ) “ O Rama! Thou the destroyer of the demon Madhu! If Thou art gracious to me, grant unto me communion with Thy devotees as also firm and constant devotion to Thee. May Thou be pleased to grant also that even a person without devotion, if he recites and studies this hymn regularly, comes to develop love and knowledge of Thee! And what is more, may he have the blessing of remembering Thee at the time of death!”. Rama, the scion of Raghu’s line, granted these prayers of his.  48, 49
